Another watercolor pencil piece from a few weeks ago. I used acrylic paint for the highlights and some real watercolors when I wanted things a bit more vibrant this time.

My shiba does this so much XD. Very nice technique for the shadows and I absolutely ADORE the background. It captures the spirit of doggy play very nicely and the lineart is so very clean

. How you did this in watercolor pencils is beyond me. ( I CANNOT work in that medium. Lol).

LOL. Watercolor pencils are definitely interesting to work with. I think mainly because you have to visualize ahead what they will look like when the water hits them. I've found that (most of the time) a little bit of the pencil goes a long way. In this particular piece, I used watercolors as well as the watercolor pencils. And from here on out, my paintings have all been a mix of the two. :]

You're welcome! And yeah, my problem usually is when I don't really plan out my work and use way too much pencil. That usually messes everything up XD
